How to get to Padua
The closest airport is Venezia Marco Polo.
Once you land, you can get to Padua in 45 minutes by bus, thanks to the service offered by Busitalia. Buses leave every 40 minutes. A timetable is available on the FS Busitalia website.
The price of a one-way ticket from Venice Airport to your stop (Padova Autostazione) is € 13,00.
Tickets can be purchased either at the self-service ticket machine, located next to the bus stop at Venice airport, or at Padua’s bus station, at any counter Busitalia Veneto, or on board (if you choose this option, please know that payment on board this line is cash only and might be slightly more expensive). Alternatively, you can download the app (Google Play; AppStore) and purchase your tickets there.

Once in Padua, you can use buses and trams to move around the city easily. Tickets can be purchased on board.
